Rather than terminate the First Amendment to the Agreement, however, the City would like to suspend the additional custodial services, in the event such services are required again. Should the additional custodial services l COVID cleaning be required in the future, the City will notify Valley Maintenance Corp. in writing with a notice to proceed. Effective immediately, please cease performing any of the additional custodial services described in the First Amendment to the Agreement. The City will not be obligated to compensate Valley Maintenance Corp. for any such services performed after the date of this letter. Please also note that this letter does not relate to, and should not affect, the services Valley Maintenance Corp. is providing under the original Agreement. The City thanks Valley Maintenance Corp. for providing the additional custodial services and appreciates your prompt attention in this matter.
