The unanimous vote does not mandate vaccine proof but directs county officials to report back in two weeks on possible options for implementing such a policy. • City of Hermosa Beach City Council voted last Tuesday to direct the City Manager to develop a draft City policy that would require City employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or test weekly for the virus. The Council also directed the City Manager to include language that would require all City employees — except those subject to exceptions recognized under state or federal law — to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 within 60 days of at least one of the vaccines being fully approved by the Food and Drug Administration. Number Source: California Department of Public Health 8/17/2021 City of El Segundo 1 350 Main St. El Segundo, CA 90245 21 Tier Assignment Changes In light of the recent, unprecedented surge in rate of increase of cases, the following changes are effective until further notice: • Tier assignments may occur any day of the week and may occur more than once a week when the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) determines that the most recent reliable data indicate that immediate action is needed to address COVID-19 transmission in a county. • Counties may be moved back more than one tier if CDPH determines that the data supports more intensive intervention. Key considerations will include the rate of increase in new cases and/or test positivity, more recent data as noted on website, public health capacity, and other epidemiological factors. • The most recent reliable data will be used to complete the assessment. • In light of the extreme circumstances requiring immediate action, counties will be required to implement any sector changes the day following the tier announcement. • Full details on the Blueprint are available in CDPH's Blueprint for a Safer Economy framework 8/17/2021 City of El Segundo 1 350 Main St. El Segundo, CA 90245 22 rI.St:(:t ,,1)o M , 2oo.xc iIK]111R Persc COVID 19 Personnel Costs by Pay Period iSfl.7GC 3/17/20 4/'0/70 ` 4/14/20 5/37202;5/221MIS 1202 5/19/?Oi7/3/202 7/17/7p 7/?.1/20',B/IC/20 317 R170'9/I1J NJ9175/20IOi 9/20 10i23,2111,6/20l1112012 1214/70!14;1 20 20 20 0 20 0 20 0 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 C20 20 1 020 20 C20 1 Sur cf Be nef iL 37, L'0 13,5:8 r.
