Fwd: Could the City have Dial -A -Ride again? I am sure there is a great need for it by
many people. If we have it, you could charge a small fee to use it.

Subject: LAX Departure monitoring
Can someone please advise me of the current status of monitoring flights departing westbound from the
southern runway. I was just out in front of my house on the 600 block of West Walnut and at
approximately 8:52 P.M., a commercial plane flew over my house. It continued on a south/southwest
path. It was not possible to see any identifying marks based on angle and low light. This plane was high
enough it did not cause the typical noise disruption. It was my understanding LAX is supposed to
monitor all departing flights to ensure, barring emergency, no flights travel over the west end of the
city. Airlines that violate this are supposed to be fined. I have noticed there has been an increase in the
number of planes, mostly cargo carriers, I observe flying south of Imperial. Last week a cargo carrier
flew over the neighborhood so low, it set off car alarms. As these offending flights are at such an angle,
it is not possible to see tail numbers. Previous efforts to report these offenders have met with negative
responses, that no departure could be identified.
Thank you.

Subject: El Segundo zoning discussion online?
Found this on Reddit and it discusses El Segundos plans for zoning over the next 8 years. Is there any merit and truth to
their argument?

Subject: Police Department Training -Updated. Please read this one.
Hello!
Please have our El Segundo Police Department get constitutional training at Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace
Officers Association (CSPOA.org.) Our local police department should be positioned to protect our constitutional
liberties and freedoms. CSPOA will help ensure that the ESPD will view all federal laws governing lock downs,
masking, vaccinations, and involuntary FEMA camps (httl2s:llarch1ve.is/P1aRA ) under standards set by our U.S.
Constitution.
As mentioned previously, policy followed by our local ESPD should not be set by the diversity, equity, and Inclusion
committee (DEI) whose true origins and backers are Anti American. For everyone's safety, the DEI should have no
part in selecting the next police chief,
Sincerely,
Stephanie, resident

Hello Members,
Would it be feasible to take 2 minutes to explain the importance of the diverse impact of this tragedy? We have citizens
of El Segundo, young and old, of various walks of life who were impacted.
I can speak during public comment but wanted to email before the meeting to "check the pulse," if you would.
Please let me know how best to/ whether to proceed as VC of DEL
Warm regards,

Subject: Street parking
I live on the 500 block of east Sycamore Ave. There are rentals all around and I'm assuming not many
have parking because on trash pick up day, vehicles come over and squeeze into parking spaces that are
too small. Many people park so close to my driveway, on both sides, that it is very difficult for me to
back out, especially if there are cars parked across the street, which there usually are. I've asked about
painting the curb red for a little distance on either side but got a hard "no" on that Idea. I was told that
there was a high density in the area and parking was at a premium. I have now been forced to leave one
trash bin by the curb on Fridays to try to avoid getting blocked in. Today, someone moved the trash can
and squeezed into the space. I'm trying to do my best, but quite frankly, people really don't give a darn
about anyone else as long as they get what they want. I am a property owner, not a renter. I find that
that really doesn't make as much difference in this town as it used to, but the taxes are still as high as
ever. Why is that?
Any insight you can shed on the subject would be appreciated.
