FIRST AMENDMENT TO
AGREEMENT NO. 5203 BETWEEN
THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO AND
SUSAN SAXE-CLIFFORD, PH.D.
THIS FIRST AMENDMENT ("Amendment") is made and entered into this 8t" day of July 2021,
by and between CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, a general law city and municipal corporation existing
under the laws of California ("CITY"), and SUSAN SAXE-CLIFFORD, PH.D., A
PROFESSIONAL CORPORATION ("CONSULTANT"). The parties agree as follows:
1. Pursuant to Section 35 of Agreement No. 5203, as amended ("Agreement"), the term
of the Agreement is extended to June 30, 2022, and will be automatically renewed on
July 1 of each year, unless and until it is terminated by either party pursuant to
Section 16 of the Agreement.
2. CITY agrees to pay CONSULTANT a sum not to exceed Ten Thousand dollars
($10,000.00) for CONSULTANT's services per fiscal year. CITY may modify this
amount as set forth below. Unless otherwise specified by written amendment to this
Agreement, CITY will pay this sum at the rates specified in the attached Exhibit `B,"
which is incorporated by reference.
3. The Amendment may be executed in any number of counterparts, each of which will
be an original, but all of which together constitutes one instrument executed on the
same date.
4. Except as modified by this Amendment, all other ternis and conditions of Agreement
No. 5203 will remain the same.

Exhibit B
CITY OF EL SEGUNDO
Scope of Work.
Pre Employment Psyc%olo gical Evaluation —Review of background
information provided by the City. Administer, score, and interpret a battery of
psychological tests to law enforcement candidates, interview candidates and
provide the City with a verbal and written evaluation of candidates' suitability
for City positions.
2. Perform Fitness for Dut _ Evaluations including initial consultation, review of
documents, administer, score, and interpret an appropriate battery of
psychological tests, interview employees and recommend fitness status.
3. Post -critical incident intervention as requested.
4. Consult with the Department regarding public safety psychological issues as
requested.
Fee Schedule
The City shall pay the Contractor at the following rate:
$450.00 per candidate for pre -employment evaluation
$375.00 per hour for other requested services
