You might copy them ( The County jerkasauruses ) on the virus emails we get showing El Segundo really
low exposures.
It is their numbers, in may cases. We should just ignore those self-serving, power hungry dictators..
Just make sure all our businesses comply with the reasonable dining and meeting guidelines.
If ES residents wanted to be controlled by the County jerks, we'd move to Lawndale or Lennox..
Keep up the pressure!! I
Thanks

Subject: LA County Board of Supervisors meeting today
Dear Council Members,
I was listening to the Board of Supervisors meeting this morning and heard several Council Members from
other cities calling in to oppose S1, the health ordinance to close outside dining.
Had anyone from El Segundo reached out to the L.A. Board this morning or at any other time?
This is a disaster for our restaurants in town that have put so much money into jumping through hoops for
outdoor dining, not to mention the money our city spent helping them out with the barriers and such. We
should not be lumped in with the entire county of Los Angeles.
How does this Emergency Act keep getting extended?
We are now eight months in for "two weeks to flatten the curve", so you'll forgive me if I don't believe the
Governor telling us this newest closure is for two to three weeks.
As a city, how are we responding and what can we do?
Assemblymember Kevin Kiley met with fifteen other counties in Northern California and they came up with
The Healthy Communities Resolution. htt s://bloc.clectkevinkile .coii-Llttie-liealth -communities-resolution-2/
Are we following suit in Southern California?
Thank you for your response.
