Establish Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Commission City Manager Scott Mitnick Scott Mitnick, City Manager, introduced, reported and answered questions on the item. Council discussion • Move quickly to allocate funds and proper resources and attention the commission will need. • Once the Commission identifies and is ready with strategic outcomes, not tactical, dovetail into the Strategic Plan and not wait until fall 2021. • Move quickly on advertising for the Commission and set up interviews with Council. MOTION by Mayor Boyles, SECONDED by Council Member Giroux to establish a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Commission.
