Dave Atkinson, resident, requested all residents wear face coverings when in public.
Thomas McGuire, resident, interested in Municipal Broadband and would like it looked
into in the future.
Byron Simmons, resident, would like to know why he can't purchase an overnight permit
to park hi ,bic ""i`ig in town.
Vone Bkels, resident, would like to know why gardeners are essential? The leaf
blowing is disturbing those online teaching and learning.

Mona Shilling, Deputy City Clerk II, gave Tracy Weaver, City Clerk the oath.
Tracy Weaver, City Clerk, gave the Oath of Office to Lance Giroux, Carol Pirsztuk, Drew
Boyles, Council Members and Matthew Robinson, City Treasurer.
After the Oath of Office was given to the newly elected, many thanked Crista Binder,
Outgoing City Treasurer, for her years of service to the City and welcomed Matthew
Robinson as City Treasurer.

Tracy Weaver, City Clerk, explained how the nomination process would take place due
to the fact the meeting is being conducted virtually.
Each Council Member was asked individually, according to roll call order, for their
nomination. A Council Member may pass and not exercise their right to nominate, if
they choose. The Clerk will record the nominations and once each Council Member
nominated or passed, voice voting began.

and Wire Transfers from 3/9/2020 through 3/15/2020 in the total amount of

Chief Donovan, gave an update on COVID-19 and how the City is handling the
pandemic and what the Health Departments new orders will mean for the City and its
employees.
Council commented on the report and thanked Chief Donovan for a job well done.
E. STAFF PRESENTATIONS
7. Authorize the City Manager authority to waive all late penalties and
interest associated with late payments, of up to thirty days, of the
Transient Occupancy Tax by hotels in the City of EI Segundo during the
period of March 31, 2020 through July 31, 2020.
(Fiscal Impact: No loss of Transient Occupancy Tax. Potential loss of late
penalties and interest ranging from $0 - $50,000.00 per month)

purchase of computers (laptops) and software accessories with J. W.
Systems.
(Fiscal Impact: The total cost to the FY 2019-2020 General Fund is
$255,600 (combined total of three (3) contracts listed above related to EI
Segundo COVID-19. Up to 75% of this cost ($191,700 may be eligible for
reimbursement from federal and state governments).

Council Member Pirsztuk — Thanked the residents for re-electing her to
Council and congratulated the others on their election.
Mayor Pro Tem Pimentel — Warm welcome and congratulated all those
on their election.
Council Member Boyles — As we re -surface, the Mayor would like to
position the City as the Business Friendly City it is. Congratulated all those
on the AHIMT and the IT department on all they have done during the
COVID-19 pandemic. Congratulated Lance, Carol, Matthew and Tracy on
their election. Congratulated the City Clerk's office on a well-run
election with the new voting system. He received quite a few positive
comments regarding the new system. Mentioned there are no patients
currently at Dockweiler Beach and is taking that a good sign.

Reminded everyone the next meeting will be held virtually as well and will be
held on Tuesday, April 21, 2020. Thanked the Clerk's office for the extra effort of
